Specialized workshops conducted by experienced choral experts provide participants with valuable insights into various aspects of choral singing. These sessions cover vocal techniques, repertoire interpretation, and other essential skills, contributing to the continuous growth and development of choir members.

Participating choirs have the opportunity to exchange repertoire, techniques, and cultural insights, creating a dynamic exchange that goes beyond the festival, fostering lasting connections. Through shared experiences, participants forge connections, gaining a deeper understanding of each other's traditions and fostering a sense of global choral community.
A grand ensemble featuring combined voices from participating choirs, members from the Kuching community, the Festival Choir showcases unity in diversity. This collaborative performance brings together singers from various backgrounds, celebrating the harmonious blend of cultures through choral music.
The Opening Ceremony of the Sarawak Choral Festival will have a special performance from the invited choir and festival choir.

Founder and director of the Center for Choral Pedagogical Research and Practice at the Haus der Musik in Innsbruck, a branch of the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Her research focuses on choral pedagogical practice, transcultural and inclusive music-making settings and instrumental and vocal didactic development research. She has taught music, instrumental and vocal pedagogy as well as (children's) choral conducting at various German universities and music colleges.
As a children's choir conductor and choir teacher, she is an internationally sought-after expert and passes on her expertise in numerous workshops and further training courses in Germany and abroad. She is also a sought-after jury member at choir and choral composition competitions and singing festivals at home and abroad.
Currently conducts various choirs (children, youth, women and mixed choirs) of different genres: the intergenerational choir Chorgemeinschaft ConTakt e.V. Nuremberg, Germany and the transcultural choir groups of the Austrian Grenzklang project in Innsbruck, which she founded and of which she is the artistic, educational and scientific director.
Zechariah Goh graduated with a Diploma in Music from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1989.

Conductor and adjudicator in many parts of the world including Taiwan, Japan, Lithuania, South Korea, Venice, Busan, Malaysia and Rimini.
The conductor and choirmaster Vinzenz Weissenburger works with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta and Sir Simon Rattle and conducts orchestras such as the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Staatskapelle Berlin and the Lautten Compagney in concerts and operas.
Outside Europe, he has appeared as a conductor in Argentina, Vietnam, China, Qatar, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey, Mexico and the USA.
He has conducted the children's choir of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin since 2007 and has since developed it to such an extent that it won 1st prize at the German Choir Competition in 2014.
Vinzenz Weissenburger has been awarded the "Conductor's Prize" several times at competitions, most recently in June 2023 with another 1st prize at the German Choir Competition in Hanover in the A2 category with the Junges Ensemble Berlin.
In September 2015, he founded the youth chamber choir Junges Consortium Berlin, which proved its pure and youthful sound at the International Chamber Choir Competition in Marktoberdorf 2019, among others. In 2017, he took over the direction of the choir of the Junges Ensemble Berlin and has been teaching choral conducting at the Berlin University of the Arts since 2020.
Since 2017, he has been part of the team of lecturers and conductor of the opera gala at the International Masterclass OperOderSpree in Beeskow.
An internationally acclaimed vocal coach, singer, and specialist in functional breathing technique.
She studied opera, concert singing, and vocal pedagogy in Belgrade and Berlin, where she completed her Konzertexamen with distinction and refined her expertise in functional breathing for singers and wind players.
Founder of the Institute for Singing and Breathing Training in Berlin, Brzaković supports singers in role preparation, technique development, and sustainable vocal health.
She is a frequent guest professor and masterclass leader worldwide, with engagements in Singapore, Mexico, Malaysia, Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany.
In 2024, she delivered a keynote lecture at the global video conference on singing and breathing hosted by the Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Mexico City.
As artistic director of the international opera festival Oper Oder Spree, and vocal coach at the Staatsoper Berlin’s children's chorus and young soloists, she collaborates closely with conductors such as Vinzenz Weissenburger, Sir Simon Rattle, Zubin Mehta, and Daniel Barenboim.
Her students perform at leading opera houses, including the Staatsoper Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin, Bolshoi Theatre Moscow, the Metropolitan Opera New York, and La Scala Milan.
A passionate advocate for choral music, she has worked with ensembles such as Junges Consortium Berlin, Philharmonischer Chor Ljubljana, Fecorem Spain and other choirs in Spain, Finland, Sweden, Turkey Mexico etc — always combining artistic expression with technical mastery.
Brzaković is also an examination expert at the International Swiss Opera Studio (Hochschule der Künste Bern/Biel) and a lecturer at the Academy of Music Berlin.
